Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with the EN 301 549 V3.2.1, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non Accessible Statement
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
Alternative text
Descriptions for a number of graphics and images are missing or limited. Decorative images are announced that should be marked up to ignore.
Interaction with screen readers and keyboard only
There is an access issue for screen reader users with the main navigation and content, where focus order and visibility is also an issue for keyboard only users. Unexpected change of focus direction is also an issue on pages.
The footer language region switcher has a double focus point which may disrupt users. Arrow disclosure controls in the mobile version are not keyboard focusable.
Status messages in search results are not conveyed to screen reader users.
Semantics and page structure
Certain semantic relationships, e.g. headings and lists, are not always communicated to screen reader users. Some linked images are missing labels. In addition, a number of links and PDFs open in a new window, without informing users.
Colour contrast and use of colour
There is low colour contrast within a number of webpages including on text links and buttons.
Text spacing
Navigation in the main menu is cut off when applying custom text-spacing.
Language attributes
In the case of the language region switcher, the use of aria over-writes labelling. Additional languages are also not declared in the switcher and Customer service pages.
Forms implementations
The search field relies on placeholders' text for a label.
